    • DAY 01 – AIRPORT – NEGOMBO

      Arrival at Colombo Airport.“Ayubowan”,On arrival at the Katunayake International Airport.Our representative meet and great at the airport and transfer to the one of the leading hotel in Negombo.You can enjoy the rest of the day at leisure to relax before enjoying SRI LANKA HOLIDAYS TOUR.Negombo is Sandy long Beach.After short break You will start the tour. Negombo City tour, Boat trip through the Dutch cannel and visit Dutch Fort and Negombo beach. Negombo is the fifth largest city in the country.       Golden Cave Temple.After the breakfast you will travel to Habarana via Kurunegala and Dambulla.En route will visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage.This is a Foster home for the elephants of different age and size.You can see feeding, bathing, playing and more activities.After will proceed to Dambulla.This town has been a sacred place since the second century BC.The Golden Temple of Dambulla is an important Buddhist shrine and monastery. The Rock Temple (Rangiri Dambulla Rajamaha Viharaya)and The Golden Temple(Rangiri Dambulla Uyanwatta Rajamaha Viharaya) are interconnected temples with single administration.The temple is composed of five caves and collection of 157 valuable statues.These five caves are Deva Raja Viharaya,Maha Raja Viharaya(Temple Of the Great King)Maha Aluth Viharaya,Pascima Viharaya and Devana Aluth Viharaya.The caves are decorated with religious and secular paintings from the 15th and 16th century.Evening visit Hurulu Eco Park and afterwords you can do Elephant Ride.       Anuradhapura UNESCO World Heritage Site.Third day Tour start Anuradhapura ancient city tour.This Sacred City of Anuradhapura was established around 3rd century B.C. The city is one of the principal shrines of Buddhism. The cutting from the fig tree of Buddha brought there in the 3rd century BC.This was the first established Kingdom in ancient Sri Lanka.This is founded by King Pandukabhaya. In 377 BC. Anuradhapura, is one of the ancient capitals of Sri Lanka.Jaya Sri Maha Bodhiya, Ruwanwelisaya(Dagoba), Jetavana stupas,Lovamahapaya and many more large stupas. Anuradhapura city was in dry zone and rulers constructed large lakes to irrigate paddy lands and water supply to the city.Abhyagiri stupas,Twin ponds,Thuparamaya,Stone carving of Isurumuniya lovers, Mirisawetiya stupas,Magul Uyana, Rathna prasadaya, Vessagiriya, Brazen Palace,Ranmasu Uyana and many more to visit.Evening will return back to Habarana.En route visit Mihintale.Buddhism was first introduced to Sri Lanka on the mountain of Mihintale in the year 247 BC on a Full Moon Day which is called Poson Poya.Mihintale architectural feats are mainly visible in Aradanagala,the Cave of Arahat Mahinda,Kaludiya Pokuna,Kantaka Chaitiya and at ancient Hospital.There are 1840 Stone steps leading to the summit and Mihintale rock over 1080 feet is high.

      Polonnaruwa UNESCO World Heritage Site. After Breakfast will travel to Second ancient Capital of Polonnaruwa.Do sightseeing tour in ancient city of Polonnaruwa (10th – 11th Century AD), visit the many sites of archaeological and historical interest in the Sacred City including the Statue of King Parakrama , Quadrangle, Royal Palace, Gal Viharaya, Kumara and Lotus Ponds, Thiwanka Image House and many more. And see the one of the country’s biggest water reservoir Parakrama Samudraya.This is One of the Great Ancient Man-made Lake and en route visit Medirigiriya Vatadage.     • DAY 05 – HABARANA – SIGIRIYA – KANDY

      Sigiriya Rock (‘Lion’s Rock’).After the Breakfast proceed to Sigiriya. Sigiriya Rock Fortress of Sri Lanka is situated in Matale district near Dambulla. Sigiriya is famous for its palace ruins on top of a massive 200 meter(660 ft) high rock surrounded by the remains of an extensive network of gardens, reservoirs and other structures. There are about 1200 steps. The rock itself is a lava plug left over from an ancient long extinct volcano. It is also renowned for its ancient paintings (frescoes), which are similar to those found at Ajanta Caves in India. It is generally agreed, however, that the Sigiriya Frescoes exhibit a uniquely Sri Lankan style.More mysteries of Sigiriya are Frescoes,The Mirror Wall,Cobra Hood Cave,The Water Gardens,The Boulder Gardens,The Terraced Gardens.It is one of the eight World Heritage Sites of Sri Lanka. .En route visit Matale Spice Garden,Batik Factory,Ayurveda Massage and visit Nalanda Gedige.In the evening Kandy City Tour and shopping.Over night at Kandy.

      Temple Of The Tooth Relic(Sri Dalada Maligawa). Today Kandy Tour will start.Kandy is a UNESCO world heritage site.This is the second largest city in the country after Colombo. It was the last capital of the ancient kings’ era of Sri Lanka.Kandy is beautiful city is located in the foothills of central highlands, surrounded by hills and valleys, rivers, lakes and cascading waterfalls.This is located in the mountainous and thickly forested interior of the island.The city is located in between multiple mountain ranges including the Knuckles mountain range and the Hanthana Mountain Range, giving the city an elevation of 500 meters (1,600 ft) above sea level.       Kandy-Ramboda-Nuwara Eliya.On the Morning of day 7th will travel from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya via Ramboda Ella.Nuwara Eliya is a city in the Hill Country of Sri Lanka with a picturesque landscape and temperate climate. Its temperate climate gives the city a very different feel from other parts of the country and, along with the colonial architecture has earned it the name ‘Little England’.It is located at an altitude of 1,868 m (6,128 ft)and is considered to be the most important location for Tea production in Sri Lanka. The city is overlooked by Pidurutalagala, the tallest mountain in Sri Lanka. Nuwara Eliya is also known for the temperate, cool climate, the city is known for being the coolest area in Sri Lanka.We will visit Tea Plantation, Labookelle Tea Centre, Ramboda Ella,Sri Baktha Hanuman Temple,Queen Victoria Park and Geogry Lake.       Yala Safari.Very Early Morning travel to Yala National Park.This is also known as Ruhunu National Park and the most visited and second largest national park in Sri Lanka. There are five blocks in Yala National park and People can only visit block I and II.The park covers 979 square kilometers (378 sq mi). Yala was designated as a wildlife sanctuary in 1900, and, along with Wilpattu.It was one of the first two national parks in Sri Lanka, having been designated in 1938. The park is best known for its variety of wild animals. It is important for the conservation of Sri Lankan Elephants and aquatic birds.The western part of Yala (block one) is named as the area with the highest leopard concentration in the world.       Mirissa-Galle-Bentota.After Breakfast Travel to Bentota via Galle.Galle is an UNESCO world heritage site in Sri Lanka.Galle is a major city in Sri Lanka and it’s a fourth largest city after the capital Colombo, Kandy and Jaffna.Galle was Under the Portuguese and Dutch Influence.Before the arrival of the Portuguese in the 16th century, when it was the main port on the island.Galle reached the height of its development in the 18th century,during the Dutch colonial period.Galle is the best example of a fortified city built by the Portuguese in South and Southeast Asia, showing the interaction between Portuguese architectural styles and native traditions. The city was extensively fortified by the Dutch during the 17th century from 1649 onwards. The Galle fort is a world heritage site and is the largest remaining fortress in Asia built by European occupiers.Travel towards Bentota and En route visit Seenigama Temple,Tsunami Memorial & amp; Mesuem,Moonstone Mine, Mask Museum.Moonstone’s are in the semi-precious category and are an important component of the Sri Lankan gem industry.     • PINNAWALA ELEPHANT ORPHANAGE

      Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage is an orphanage, nursery and captive breeding ground for wild Asian elephants located at Pinnawala village, 13 km (8.1 mi) northeast of Kegalle town in Sabaragamuwa Province of Sri Lanka. Pinnawala is notable for having the largest herd of captive elephants in the world. In 2011, there were 88 elephants, including 37 males and 51 females from 3 generations, living in Pinnawala.

      The orphanage was established to feed, nurse and house young elephants found abandoned by their mothers. Young elephants sometimes fall into pits and ravines in their quest for water during drought period. Other orphans have been displaced from their wild habitat by development projects or have been found abandoned before weaning, diseased or wounded.

    • DAMBULLA GOLDEN CAVE TEMPLE

      The Rock Temple (Rangiri Dambulla Rajamaha Viharaya)and The Golden Temple(Rangiri Dambulla Uyanwatta Rajamaha Viharaya) are interconnected temples with single administration. The history of Rock Temple goes back to the first century B.C., commenced by the King Vattagamini Abhaya and thereafter kings, Maha Parakramabahu, Nissankamalala, Keerthi Sri Rajasinghe and five cave temples, particularly named, Devaraja Viharaya, Maharaja Viharaya, Maha Alut Viharaya. Paschima Viharaya and Devena Alut Viaharaya respectively.
      Within these five caves is housed a collection of 157 valuable images of the Buddha and Bodhisatta etc. Inside the caves the rock surfaces, ceiling and side walls are covered with paintings executed with indigenous traditional colour schemes to an extent of about 22,000 square feet. The inscription in the premises records that the temple had been named “Rangiri Dambulla” when the images were painted in gold by King Nissankamalala of the Polonnaruwa regime. The temple with its historical, archeological and artistic significances had in the year 1991, been declared one of the world heritages sites by the UNESCO.
    • RUWANWELISEYA

      The Ruwanwelisaya (also written as Ruvanvalisaya) is a stupa in Sri Lanka, considered a marvel for its architectural qualities and sacred to many Buddhists all over the world. Simply known also as the Great Stupa, the Ruvanvalisaya was constructed by Dutthagamani after he became king in 161 BCE. This was his most ambitious project and it is said that one of the architects designed the dome to resemble a bubble of milk. Sadly, the king did not live to see the completion of the stupa.

      When it was finally completed, it was one of the wonders of the ancient world, with a diameter of 90 meters at the base and a height of 92 meters (300 ft) and circumference of 292 meters (950 ft). The stupa is one of the world’s tallest monuments and was the fifth tallest structure of any kind when it was built in approximately 161 BCE
