Day1

Arrival at Colombo Airport.Our representative meet at airport and transfer to one of the leading hotel in Negombo. Negombo is Sandy long Beach.After short break You will start the tour. Negombo City tour, Boat trip through the Dutch cannel and visit Dutch Fort and Negombo beach.Negombo is the fifth largest city in the country. This was under Portuguese, Dutch and British influence.Over Night at Negombo.

Day2

Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage and Hurulu Eco Park. After the breakfast you will travel to Habarana via Kurunegala and Dambulla.En route will visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage.This is a Foster home for the elephants of different age and size.You can see feeding, bathing, playing and more activities.Then will travel to Dambulla.En route will visit World largest rock carved Buddha Statue.The Colossal 67.5 feet high Buddha Statue located in Rambodagalla Vidyasagara Temple in Ridigama,Kurunegala. After will proceed to Dambulla.This town has been a sacred place since the second century BC.The Golden Temple of Dambulla is an important Buddhist shrine and monastery. The Rock Temple (Rangiri Dambulla Rajamaha Viharaya)and The Golden Temple(Rangiri Dambulla Uyanwatta Rajamaha Viharaya) are interconnected temples with single administration.The temple is composed of five caves and collection of 157 valuable statues.These five caves are Deva Raja Viharaya,Maha Raja Viharaya(Temple Of the Great King)Maha Aluth Viharaya,Pascima Viharaya and Devana Aluth Viharaya.The caves are decorated with religious and secular paintings from the 15th and 16th century. Evening visit Hurulu Eco Park and afterwords you can do Elephant Ride and Cart Ride. Over night stay at Habarana.

Day3

Ritigala Strict National reserve and Pink Quartz RangeThird day will travel to Galkiriyagama and visit Rose Quartz Range(Namal Uyana).This is Asia’s Largest Rose Quartz Range and 500 million years old with largest NA forest in Sri Lanka. Jathika Na Mal Uyana is the largest Na (Ceylon Iirn Wood Tree) forest and pink quartz mountain(Rose Quartz mountain range) in Asia.This Pink Quartz Range is oriented with a variety of important values, such as, historical, geographical, artistic and blessed with abundant natural resources.There are 3 water falls deriving from these mountains and their flow stretches all over the Namal Uyana Forest. This water is enriched with minerals and contains ayurvedic medicinal values and the village people around and people from far away land believes that drinking this water will cure their diseases and give you physical perfection along with the mental satisfaction which you enjoy from the natural environment in this wonder land. Then proceed to Aukana.This is free-standing Buddha’s statue carved out of a single rock.Aukana Buddha Statue height is 12m.After will travel to visit Ritigala mountain range.This mountain range is located in between Anuradhapura and Habarana.This is a famous archeological site with ancient Ayurveda centers, water tanks and natural caves with Brahmin inscriptions from the 2nd and 3rd century BC.Ritigala Mountain Range situated in the Ritigala Strict Nature Reserve has 4 peaks and the highest peak in the south is called the Ritigala Kanda (Mountain). Ritigala Kanda is comparatively in a higher elevation than Sigiriya, Dambulla and Mihintale even though it is only 2513ft., high. This mountain range that needs to be travelled mostly on gravel and dirt roads is a perfect place for hiking and the road sides are filled with fauna and flora unique to its Dry Zone. Do not forget to carry water and snacks if you intend to stay long hours inside this reserve which is a bit away from the villages.

Day4

Minneriya National Park and UNESCO World Heritage Site – Polonnaruwa.Today will travel to Second ancient Capital of Polonnaruwa.En route will visit Minneriya National Park.Menneriya is Elephant Gathering site and over 300 elephants you can see(Best time is July to September). Afternoon will proceed to the Polonnaruwa and Do sightseeing tour in ancient city of Polonnaruwa (10th – 11th Century AD), visit many sites of archaeological and historical interest in the Sacred City including the Statue of King Parakrama , Quadrangle, Royal Palace, Gal Viharaya, Kumara and Lotus Ponds, Thiwanka Image House and many more. And see the one of the country’s biggest water reservoir Parakrama Samudraya.This is One of the Great Ancient Man-made Lake and Medirigiriya Vatadage. In the evening will visit Kaudulla National Park.(Optional).

Day5

Sigiriya Rock (‘Lion’s Rock’)and Temple Of The Tooth Relic(Sri Dalada Maligawa). After the Breakfast proceed to Sigiriya. Sigiriya Rock Fortress of Sri Lanka is situated in Matale district near Dambulla. Sigiriya is famous for its palace ruins on top of a massive 200 meter(660 ft) high rock surrounded by the remains of an extensive network of gardens, reservoirs and other structures. There are about 1200 steps. The rock itself is a lava plug left over from an ancient long extinct volcano. It is also renowned for its ancient paintings (frescoes), which are similar to those found at Ajanta Caves in India. It is generally agreed, however, that the Sigiriya Frescoes exhibit a uniquely Sri Lankan style.More mysteries of Sigiriya are Frescoes,The Mirror Wall,Cobra Hood Cave,The Water Gardens,The Boulder Gardens,The Terraced Gardens.It is one of the eight World Heritage Sites of Sri Lanka.
Kandy is a UNESCO world heritage site.This is the second largest city in the country after Colombo. It was the last capital of the ancient kings’ era of Sri Lanka.Kandy is beautiful city is located in the foothills of central highlands, surrounded by hills and valleys, rivers, lakes and cascading waterfalls.This is located in the mountainous and thickly forested interior of the island.The city is located in between multiple mountain ranges including the Knuckles mountain range and the Hanthana Mountain Range, giving the city an elevation of 500 meters (1,600 ft) above sea level.En route visit Matale Spice Garden,Batik Factory,Ayurveda Massage and after Nalanda Gedige.In the evening visit Temple Of The Tooth Relic,Cultural Show,Kandy City Tour

Riverston Misty Peak,Virgin Forest and Knuckles Mountain Range Tour will start early in the morning. Today will cover Riverston Misty Peak,Virgin Forest,Thelgamu Oya,Pitawala Pathana,Mini Worlds End,Sera Ella, and Bambarakiri Ella,Knuckles Mountain Range,Bamboo Avenue and Corbat’s Gap View Point,Rathna water fall trek,Sitakotuwa limestone cave and waterfall trek etc and visit Knuckles Mountain Range.This is above 3000 Ft(915 Mts)above the sea level.Knuckles Mountain height is 6112 feet.This Knuckles mountain range and its forest trails are the most suitable for trekking in Sri Lanka with many nature trails. Knuckles summit trail are very exciting.There are interconnected footpaths of cardamom planters,toddy tapers,tea plantation workers,farmers and villages.If you are not interesting about trekking you can visit So many places in Kandy.Night walk through Kandy Lake Drive.

Kandy-Ramboda-Nuwara Eliya.On the Morning of day 7th will travel from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya via Ramboda Ella.First will start visiting Royal Botanical Garden in Kandy.This is a one of the best and Beauty place in Asia.The Botanical Garden of Peradeniya was a pleasure garden of a Kandyan King of the 16th Century.After fresh mind with nature will visit Gadaladeniya,Lankatilaka and Embakke Viharaya.after visit above will proceed to Nuwara Eliya. Nuwara Eliya is a city in the Hill Country of Sri Lanka with a picturesque landscape and temperate climate. Its temperate climate gives the city a very different feel from other parts of the country and, along with the colonial architecture has earned it the name ‘Little England’.It is located at an altitude of 1,868 m (6,128 ft)and is considered to be the most important location for Tea production in Sri Lanka. The city is overlooked by Pidurutalagala, the tallest mountain in Sri Lanka. Nuwara Eliya is also known for the temperate, cool climate, the city is known for being the coolest area in Sri Lanka.We will visit Tea Plantation, Labookelle Tea Centre, Ramboda Ella,Sri Baktha Hanuman Temple,Queen Victoria Park and Geogry Lake. Victoria Park is known that this park was established by planting an Oak tree by a German Princes who visited Nuwara Eliya at the latter part of the 19th Century.Gregory Lake was build under the period of British Governor Sir William Gregory in 1873.This is one of the significant tourist attractions in Nuwara Eliya.Ramboda Falls is a very attractive yet simple waterfall.A gigantic and attractive waterfall Drop from 109 meters.(358 ft.)Ramboda Falls located on Kandy-Nuwara Eliya Road of Pussallawa.In the Evening walking sightseeing tour of Nuwara Eliya. Nuwara Eliya – Horton Plains – Ella Today morning visit Horton Plains,Worlds End,St.Clairs Water Falls and Devon Water Falls.Evening will traval to Ella by Train.The train trip to Ella is one of the most scenic train tours in South Asia.This is one of the World’s most beautiful train trip.Ella is a beautiful, friendly and small village.Ella lies at an altitude of 1,000 meters above sea level and surrounded by tea plantations, green mountains and impressive rocks. The view from Ella is breathtaking! Some even claim that the view of the Ella Gap is one of the best views in Sri Lanka.You will climb Little Adam`s Peak,Walk up to Ella’s Rock, about 2 hours (each way) along the railway track and through the tea plantations, for stunning views across the countryside,visit the Rama`s Cave,Ravana Ella,just chill by one of the water falls Ella has to offer,Rawana Ella Falls are about 5km away on the road south through Ella Gap.

Ella-Tissamaharama-Yala.After Breakfast visit Demodara Nine Arch Bridge and Baker’s Falls.Demodara Nine Arch Bridge.This is 99.6ft height and known in Sinhala as “Ahas namaye palama” (Nine skies bridge).Demodara Railway Loop,Dunhinda Falls,Dilayaluma Waterfall, which is located in wellawaya beragala main road,Bogoda Bridge,(Constructed entirely of wood with massive tree trunks for buttresses.No nails have been used in the construction.),Namunukula Peak and this is 6,617 feet height. Lipton’s Seat,Mini world’s end.Also visit Maligawila Buddha Statue, Buduruwagala,Yudhaganawa,Dematamale Viharaya, Kataragama Devalaya, Tissa Raja Maha Viharaya and Kirinda.Buduruwagala surrounded by a beautiful man made ancient lake are the relatively unknown mysterious historic rock sculptures of Buduruwagala.Evening/Night visit Kataragama devalaya and kirivehera.Kataragama is one of the three most venerated religious sites in Sri Lanka (along with Adam’s Peak and the Temple of the Tooth at Kandy)Kataragama, the domain of God Skanda (Lord Murugan Katirkaman, Kadirkamam, Subrahmanya, Kandasamy, Kadiradeva, Katiradeva, Katiravel, Karttikeya, and Tarakajith) located in the Deep South of Sri Lanka, adjoining the popular Ruhuna Yala National Park and ancient Sithulpawwa Buddhist Monastery, is a multi-religious sacred city that contains a Buddhist temple, Hindu shrine and Islamic Mosque. Mahawamsa, the great historical chronicle of Sri Lanka reveals the participation of warriors of Kshatriyas clan from Kataragama on the occasion of the arrival of the Bo sapling of Bodhi Tree, under which Gautama Buddha attained enlightenment in Bodh Gaya (Gaya district of the modern Bihar state of India) was brought to the city of Anuradhapura 2,300 years ago.Kiri Vehera is an ancient stupa built by King Mahasena[1] and situated in Kataragama, Sri Lanka. It is 95 ft. in height with a circumference of 280 ft. This structure probably dates back to the sixth century BC.Over Night at Yala.

Yala Safari.Very Early Morning travel to Yala National Park.This is also known as Ruhunu National Park and the most visited and second largest national park in Sri Lanka. There are five blocks in Yala National park and People can only visit block I and II.The park covers 979 square kilometers (378 sq mi). Yala was designated as a wildlife sanctuary in 1900, and, along with Wilpattu.It was one of the first two national parks in Sri Lanka, having been designated in 1938. The park is best known for its variety of wild animals. It is important for the conservation of Sri Lankan Elephants and aquatic birds.The western part of Yala (block one) is named as the area with the highest leopard concentration in the world. Do realize that with only 35 leopards in the entire park the chances of actually seeing a single leopard are still relatively slim.After Visit Sithulpawwa Rajamaha Viharaya.This Rajamaha Viharaya is an ancient Buddhist monastery located close to Kataragama.(Tissamaharama-Yodhakandiya road towards the Yala National Park.)The name Sithulpawwa is derived from the word “Chiththala Pabbatha”, which means the hill of the quiet mind.Late evening travel to Sinharaja Rain Forest via Mattala, Sewanagala, Ebilipitiya,Panamure.

Sinharaja – Unawatuna.Today will start early and proceed to Sinharaja Forest Reserve.This is one of the World Heritage Site by UNESCO.Sinharaja Forest Reserve is a National Park and a biodiversity hotspot in Sri Lanka. It is of international significance and has been designated a Biosphere Reserve.This is the only virgin rain forest in Sri Lanka.The Rain forest covers an area approximately 11,187 of hectares and this tropical rain forest extends from Hiniduma/Neluwa to Deniyaya with Gin Ganga.From December through April is considered the best time to visit this rain forest because of the presence of migrating birds.Evening we will travel to Unawatuna and Evening at leisure on the Unawatuna beach.night you can enjoy Unawatuna Beach.

But due to the destroying of these turtles, there is a threat of these species being eradicated from our planet.There are five varieties of Sea Turtles found in Sri Lanka, namely Olive Ridley Turtle, Loggerhead Turtle, Green Turtle, Hawksbill Turtle and Leatherhead Turtle.
